Today’s inspiration:
Grab your photos.
You’ll need 3 photos for this challenge.
Grab a page kit.
Don’t know how to put together a page kit…watch the introductory video here.
I used a kit with 3 patterned papers (double-sided) giving me 6 choices for my layout and 2 solid cardstock for my background and for matting my photos. I use the same color for the mats as I used for the background.
Tip: Use a page kit which highlights your photos by finding papers that have the same color as are represented in your photos. I chose patterns with brown in them to match my brown outfit.
Create your layout.
- Cut up your papers based on the measurements provided.
- Adhere papers and photos, as shown on inspiration piece.
- Add title, embellies and journaling, as shown or get creative and change it up a bit.
Add your layout to the AASExperience Gallery. Inspire others, get and give praise!
Tip: Turn your Classy Sketch 90 degrees to the right and start again to create another layout. Be sure to share.
Challenge: Keep making page kits. Keep a good stock. Your goal is to get to point where you ALWAYS have 10-15 complete page kits which include papers, embellies and photos, as well as a good stock of page kits that simply include the papers and embellies…making it easy to grab your photos, page kit, your Classy Sketch and get scrapping!

Be CREATIVE!!!!
This is a great sketch and I love your layout! I'm partial to Crate Paper anyway (LoveIt), but love how your photos and the paper match perfectly! I will be giving this a try for sure! Thanks, so much for the inspiration and motivation!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Fabulous sketch and a stunning LO.
ReplyDeleteWill watch the video later and try my hand at the sketch.
Hugs xx
p.s. I'm still having fun with your kits - so much in them. :)
Classy Girl, you have certainly correctly named yourself! I've followed you on Scraps and the Weight journal with sincere admiration. We can easily see that you would be the same beautiful person no matter what size you were. Thanks for the inspiration for crafting and for life.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! Glad you like the sketch and layout and I look forward to seeing your layouts. Thanks Bernice for such sweet words!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your video. It has inspired me to get back to scrapbooking, and also to work harder on losing weight. My husband can wrap his arms around me, but I still wish there wasn't so much to wrap around! Anyway, just a suggestion--for the next video, can you let the camera pause a little longer on the final layout? I had to watch the end of the video twice, and even then, I couldn't really take in what the final result looked like.
ReplyDeleteI just love the way you journaled on this layout. The papers are so pretty and works so well with the photos.

Allison
Truely a wonderful page. I can never get a page done in 20 minutes! I think this will be great for me.
ReplyDeleteO.K. I signed into Flickr, uploaded my layout but how does it connect to this thread? It gives me an account of my own. I followed every prompt from here.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I need to do? BTW Loved this sketch!!
Wonderful video Tiare...you make the process look so easy! It's almost 1 a.m. in the morning but I'm going to go look for three pictures and see if I can't get this layout done tomorrow! Thank you for AnyTIME, AnyWHERE!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. To Anonymous...the layout is always posted on the blog so you can see it there and you can also just hit pause on the video to stop it on the layout for as long as you like.
